Position Overview

ProSphere Tek is looking for a Command & Control Subject Matter Expert (SME) to deliver onsite assistance at a major military command center.

This command center is a pivotal entity responsible for the deployment of air combat resources to military leaders. Established to enhance national defense capabilities, it oversees a fleet of advanced aircraft and ensures effective command, control, communications, and intelligence operations.

ProSphere Tek provides critical support to the planning and programming of substantial defense budgets, managing a workforce of over 150,000 personnel and a vast array of aircraft. Our efforts are integral to multiple unified commands and defense operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver program management, strategic planning, engineering, and risk mitigation support.
  • Identify technical and operational challenges that may hinder the integration of airborne command and control systems. Utilize established methodologies to contribute to plans aimed at achieving interoperability and integration of airborne command and control systems.
  • Conduct evaluations and analyses of existing and emerging data link concepts and airborne command and control capabilities, focusing on track management, data correlation, and tactical data transport.
  • Provide operational expertise to facilitate communication between operational users and product development teams, aiding in the formulation of advanced tactical data link concepts and requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, or business administration.
  • Proven experience in program management processes, including requirements initiation, testing, and system operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze operational capabilities and limitations related to tactical data link systems.
  • Experience in developing and evaluating policies and procedures for the modernization and sustainment of tactical data link systems.
  • Familiarity with DoD systems acquisition laws and program management practices.
  • Experience in drafting requirements documents and working within higher headquarters staff environments.
  • Operational experience in relevant military roles is preferred.
  • Must possess a Top Secret Clearance and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs.
