Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Order Management Specialist. This position works in a high performing, customer-oriented team environment to support made-to-order manufactured equipment for a national network of direct sales office. Builds relationships with the sales office as well as quality, cost and delivery (QCD) operations personnel to provide a first in class customer experience. Providing this first in class customer experience includes answering phones in a timely fashion and communicating customer complaints to provide immediate resolution. Handles various special projects as assigned by manager.

Location: Hybrid - Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

  • Provides end-to-end management of the orders from intake through delivery
  • Ensures timely processing of orders
  • Creates and assists in process documentation
  • Recommends corrective actions to resolve customer complaints
  • Works independently to process orders while supporting an expanded portfolio of products.
  • Partner with delivery team to resolve issues, determine root cause and identify ways to improve and ensure top performance with the customer and proactively mitigate non-compliance charges.
  • Helps to train and mentor the Order Management Specialist I position
  • Processes orders to meet and exceed expectations in alignment with high quality output to provide top tier customer service
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with team and other functions to identify ways to improve efficiency
  • Contribute ideas and innovations to improve upon existing system, work processes and procedures
  • Share best practices with team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of support and contribute to the knowledge base

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in customer experience
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
