Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team as an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our pharmacy operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate entry of prescriptions into our system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Swiftly and accurately enter prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system.
  • Communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.
  • Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:
    • Efficient order entry and follow-up.
    • Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies.
    • Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input.
    • Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals.
    • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Current national/state pharmacy certification and State Board of Pharmacy registration.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge.
  • Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations.
  • Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred.
