Small family office seeks a motivated, part-time bookkeeper (20-25 hours per week). You will manage the bookkeeping for investments in commercial real estate. This position is in-person in a home-office setting in Central Denver in Cherry Creek area. If you have high attention to detail, prior experience with bookkeeping, and seek flexibility in your work schedule, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

• Download and code bank and credit card transactions in QuickBooks for multiple entities.

• Reconcile bank accounts monthly.

• Produce and update periodic financial reports, statements, budgets, and tax-related documents in QuickBooks and Excel.

• Maintain accurate filing systems, physical and electronic.

• Monitor insurance policies for multiple real estate properties and other entities.

• Prepare yearly and quarterly tax documentation and make yearly and quarterly tax payments.

• Monitor and pay incoming bills, including property tax bills.

• Monitor and record all internal and external loan payments.

• Participate in business aspects of household maintenance.

• Manage all aspects of payroll and payroll taxes for 1-2 employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Fluency with all Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.

• High level of proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop.

• Comfortable and confident working independently.

• Must have a degree, accreditation, or extensive experience in accounting and bookkeeping.

• Must have references from previous work experience.

Hours:

• 20-25 hours per week.

• Flexibility to complete hours Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

• Work location: in office, remote work unavailable.

Compensation:

• $25-35/hour, based on education, experience, knowledge and skills.

Benefits:

• Flexible schedule.

• Paid sick time.

• Paid 2-week annual vacation.
