Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining general ledger accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for review by senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during annual audits and tax filings.
  • Provide support to senior management on ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information at all times.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within a family office or high net worth environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
