Vaco is working for a fast growing organization in Phoenixlooking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist tooversee the accounts receivable process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Prepare and send out customer statements and reminders as needed.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end close procedures related to accounts receivable.
  • Generate financial reports and analysis related to accounts receivable performance.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements to streamline the accounts receivable process.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to accounts receivable transactions.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
