The Intern, SIS Systems Administrator is part of a team responsible for building the Infinite Campus application for, new and existing districts that are moving to a new platform. The Intern will request and pre-configure the environments before the scheduled date of the project. This position requires access to customer data and infrastructure in order to fulfill the job responsibilities. These positions are potential to FT placement upon graduation; assuming an opening is available at the time of graduation. Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1B status).F1, OPT etc. will not be considered. This paid internship is an onsite positionat our Blaine, MN headquarters (not on the bus line). Initial assignment will be for a duration of six months; subject to extension. Availability 40 hours/week June - August and a minimum of 15 hours/week during the school year is required. Work schedule is flexible between the hours of 6am and 6pm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize established enterprise ticketing systems and applications. (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, Kaseya, Campus proprietary tools, etc.)
  • Follow process documentation from the wiki pages and implement workflows
  • Create cases following an outline
  • Perform administrative tasks and coordination of deployments processes includes interfacing with customers
  • Takes and distributes meeting minutes for project meetings
  • Configure server resources and run automated job tasks
  • Adhere to the practices and procedures outlined in the Wiki
  • Access Infinite Campus production customer data and production data in public test adhering to the practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines
  • Other related duties as assigned

Desired Background

  • P ursuing BA/BS; majoring in Computer Science, MIS or related technical degree
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server, Office and SQL

Position must adhere to the practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines.
