Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Manufacturing Operations Intern. In this role, you will work with Operations on specific assignments related to affordability and production related project management.
The successful candidate will be in close coordination with Operations leadership and support teams, support tracking of cost reduction initiatives, database management, and planning for the implementation of pipeline ideas. Interns will gain exposure into Operations across Final Assembly and Flight Operations, assisting with solving problems and incorporating those solutions into implementation plans. Must be a US citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
-- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Quality, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including proficiency in Excel and Power Point
- Comprehension of analytical tools, workflow time studies, and project management
- Familiar with databases, data mining, and data analytics
- Must be a US citizen

- Strong Organization skills including attention to details
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address and resolve issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
