Business Development Executive Houston - Hybrid position

MUST HAVE experience working within the FREIGHT FORWARDING Industry

This position is also open to a well-versed Operations candidates looking to get into Outside sales.

Salary - $70 - $80K depending on experience, this position comes with benefits, commission package and Car allowance or Car and mobile phone allowance and a laptop provided.

Everyone strives to satisfy the increasingly sophisticated needs of international trade through customized solutions and seamlessly integrated technology. Services include air and ocean freight consolidation and domestic and other value-added logistics services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • 2-3 years of operational background in freight forwarding operations or 2-5 years background in selling freight forwarding
  • Specialization in Ocean/Air/Domestic Inbound/Outbound to the USA and International Globally.
  • Highly motivated entrepreneurial attitude and personality
  • Candidates must have Freight Forwarding experience in their background to understand the Industry
  • Highly organized

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 years of operations or sales experience with freight forwarding companies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effectively communicating with clients and internal teams.
  • A commitment to going above and beyond to fulfill client s needs.
  • High level of organization and time management skills
  • The Sales will be responsible for bringing on new business of import/export (air/ocean/domestics) Internationally.
  • Work with the Branch Manager and Vice President of Sales to grow revenue and exceed targets by promoting and selling our business and driving sales activity through a designated territory.
