Hours: Day shift -Monday through Friday (hours can vary)

Type: Full time-regular

Lionbridge has an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer I at a local client site.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Create Test plans/ case to address program requirements and/ or activities.
  • Develop test suites for the test area described in the Test Plans.
  • Test the IHPS solution per the test plan and test suite to ensure test coverage per HP test strategy.
  • Monitor in-process tests and respond to situations where software, hardware, and firmware do not perform as required.
  • Provide detailed observations that denote deviations from defined process and system performance to failure criteria defined by Test requestor.
  • Collect and report test performance data using specific spreadsheets and databases.
  • Report anomalies to appropriate level.
  • Report test plan completion data.
  • Provide quality and quantity test data per schedule.
  • Manage consumable supplies inventory.
  • Perform lower level preventative maintenance.
  • Support Upgrades, Installations, and Data Gathering at customer sites in the field.
  • 5-10% required travel.

 

To be successful you will have:

 

  • Experience in Linux networking and administration skills.
  • Familiarity with ALM systems is a plus.
  • Test automation experience and strong scripting skills.
  • Experience with networking performance testing.
  • Familiar with testing concepts, practices, and procedures. 
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to work on a variety of projects across multiple technologies
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow up.
  • Familiarity of IHPS solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and/or on project teams.
