We’re excited to be looking for a Retention Marketing Senior Associate to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. Reporting to our Retention Marketing Manager, you will support the team in reaching our ever-expanding audience through email and retention marketing efforts. 

You’re perfect for this role if you’re eager to learn, excited about the world of retention marketing, and are interested in working in a hands-on and collaborative environment.

This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, and we have a 2 days in/3 days remote schedule.

What you’ll do

  • Own email & SMS building and QA process, ensuring content is relevant and links work to provide the customer with a good email to site experience
  • Submit clear, organized and detailed creative briefs
  • Own weekly/monthly reporting of performance metrics 
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to continuously optimize the customer journey
  • Partner with the Retention Marketing Manager to strategize customer journey optimizations and our loyalty program

We're looking for someone who brings

  • 2-3 years of retention marketing experience with a strong understanding of email & SMS marketing 
  • Experience working with multiple retention channels (i.e Email, SMS, Direct Mail, Paid Social, Loyalty) is a plus 
  • Email building experience and direct experience working with an ESP
  • Proven track record of organized and thoughtful work with a strong attention to detail 
  • Experience building and scaling customer journeys & triggers (ie. Post Purchase, Winback, etc) is a plus
  • Basic understanding of URLs/UTMs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills and an action-oriented mindset
  • Ability to be adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment

Compensation & Benefits

At Brooklinen, our goal is to offer a competitive total compensation package which we determine based on specific market data taking into account our company size, stage, industry, and location. The base salary range for this role is between $70K - $82K. 

Beyond base salary, we contribute significantly to offset the cost of health benefits, provide a financial stipend through Carrot Fertility to help with the costs associated with the fertility journey, offer a 401K with a 4% Safe Harbour match, have commuter benefits, and also provide a yearly product allowance. 

We have 14 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for all new parents, year-long Summer Fridays, a workday that starts at 10 am, four weeks of vacation, and a one-month paid sabbatical at your 5th anniversary.
