About The Role

As Director of Content Marketing , you will be a key member of the marketing organization and will lead the strategy and execution of all content marketing at the company. This important role reports to the Senior Director of Demand Generation.

Responsibilities:

Content Strategy and Planning

  • Develop a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with the marketing organization’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Build out a quarterly content calendar aligned with the team’s campaign launch schedule.

Content Production

  • Produce marketing content through a combination of working with third party resources, collaborating cross functionally with internal resources, and writing content yourself.
  • This high quality content will span various channels, including demand gen assets, blog posts, customer stories, SEO-focused educational content and product content.
  • Create content which addresses the full marketing funnel, helping to drive demand at the top of the funnel while also pushing opportunities through the middle and bottom of the funnel.

Operationalize Use of Generative AI

  • Lead the marketing team in the adoption of a generative AI platform in order to scale our content production across the team and make it more efficient.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate regularly with sales, customer success and product teams, as well as your colleagues within marketing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external collaborators, influencers, and industry experts.

Performance Measurement and Optimization

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for content marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of content marketing efforts, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of content marketing experience working for B2B technology companies
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools
  • Proven experience working with 3rd party resources to generate high quality content
  • Excel at cross-group collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving and have a bias for action
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
  • Experience working for technology startups is a plus
  • Experience working within the cybersecurity industry is a plus

This is a full time, permanent WFH position with a salary range of $125,000 to $145,000, with a performance-related bonus, plus a generous benefits package including unlimited PTO Candidates for this role must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders located in the US.
