Do you have the business savvy, SAP on AWS background, and the Healthcare & Lifesciences industry knowledge necessary to help position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for customers? Do you love building new strategic and data-driven businesses? Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Enterprise Applications on AWS team as a Business Development Specialist
The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. Within WWSO, this position is part of the Worldwide Specialist Team, where you will lead the global GTM plan for SAP on AWS for Healthcare & Lifesciences. You are a leader for specialists, architects, partners, and account teams around the world and set direction and standards for how we solve customer problems in your domain. You partner with technical and business teams across AWS and bring the voice of the customer into our product development roadmap. In this role, you are an expert in Healthcare & Lifesciences industries in conjunction with expertise in industry specific processes enabled by SAP including strong familiarity in how customers implement SAP for these specific industries, and the typical gaps/innovation use cases for which customers' seek help outside of their SAP applications using ISV solutions, bolt-ons, custom code or cloud-native services from hyperscalers (AWS experience preferred).
You will work closely with AWS industry teams to tailor industry content for SAP customers, align with SAP's industry teams to introduce complementary GTM offerings, provide thought leadership, and help build assets, solutions and accelerators which will be used by AWS field and SAP specialists to engage and help customers.
AWS and SAP have been collaborating since SAP became a customer in 2008. Together, we have certified AWS to support most SAP solutions, brought purpose built EC2 instances to market to support SAP customer needs, and helped SAP leverage AWS services to power a number of their SaaS and PaaS offerings like Concur, SuccessFactors (for government agencies), HANA Cloud Platform, Signavio and SAP Analytics Cloud. AWS has been supporting SAP workloads for customers longer than any other cloud provider (since 2011), and thousands of customers run their SAP ERP and adjacent business-critical systems on AWS today using RISE, traditional perpetual license, and hybrid deployment models. SAP runs more SAP BTP Services on AWS than any other Cloud Services Provider. Customers can modernize their SAP systems using 200+ AWS cloud native services and 63+ SAP BTP services running on AWS, including offerings for data lakes, AI/ML, GenAI, image recognition, chat-bots, and more.
Lead GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of your aligned technology domain.
• Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best in class field enablement and sales strategy.
• Support field teams in solution building for high priority customers.
• Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.
