You have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):
Observe, document and recognize changes in patient attitude, abnormal behavior, and changes in condition
Providing high quality medical/nursing care
You work well independently and as part of a team, practicing good judgment to ensure high-quality care for all patients

The LVT position requires a current and active Veterinary Technician License in Virginia, or have an active license in another state that qualifies you to be eligible for licensing
At least two years of Veterinary experience as an LVT, or one with two years as a Veterinary Assistant.
Be flexible and adapt well to new situations
Must be eligible to work in the United States and have original, unexpired documents to verify eligibility.
Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and drug test (complying with local, state and Federal guidelines).
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions. Must have the ability to respond quickly in urgent situations using all senses. During the normal workday, employee may occasionally lift and/or push/pull up to 50 pounds. Bush Veterinary Neurology has four locations across 2 states Our clinics are operated by board certified neurologists that provide same-day life-saving neurosurgery and long-term medical management. Our hospitals house state of the art equipment to provide advanced diagnostic testing including
cerebrospinal fluid collection/analysis, computed tomography, electroencephalography, MRI and more
Our neurologists perform both spinal and brain surgeries. Some of these surgeries include
intervertebral disc surgery, brain tumor removal,
