Job Description - Assistant Director of Operations

Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Operations will assist in the oversight of the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the oversight of hiring and training of the Janitors, Supervisors and Team Leads
  • Assists in the Organizational oversight of the work and schedules of the Janitors, Supervisors and Team Leads
  • Assists in discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Follows and assures quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business
  • Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day
  • Ensures work environments are adequate and
  • Assists in oversight of manufacturing, purchasing, and sales departments, ensuring each is reaching goals set by departmental and company
  • Assists in the Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and cost of sales in each division to achieve financial objectives.
  • Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain
  • Improves customer service and satisfaction

policy and procedural changes.

  • Assists with the coordination and integration of efforts among operations, engineering, technology, and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and
  • Performs other related duties as directed

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and
  • Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration required.
  • Extensive and diversified background with at least 10 years of related

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of walking, bending and
  • Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose cleaning issues and plan maintenance.
  • Must be physically able to perform repairs when
