Employee Relations Specialist
On-site: Sherman Oaks, CA
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in managing employee relations issues, including researching and resolving workplace concerns, providing guidance to management, and escalating cases when necessary. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct investigations, research policies, and recommend solutions to workplace concerns.
- Advise management on handling employee disputes, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.
- Escalate sensitive or complex cases to higher management or HR leadership as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of employee relations cases.
- Stay informed of employment law updates and best practices in employee relations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor' Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive matters and escalate cases when necessary.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail in handling employee concerns.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
