Job Title: Temporary Employee Relations Specialist

Contract - 4 months

Sherman Oaks

$40-$45/hr

LHH is seeking a skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join our client's team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in addressing employee relations issues, including investigating and resolving workplace concerns, advising management, and escalating cases as needed. Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for employee relations issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Conduct investigations, review policies, and propose solutions for workplace challenges.
  • Provide guidance to management on employee disputes, performance concerns, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive cases to higher management or HR leadership when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations cases.
  • Stay updated on employment law changes and best practices in employee relations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in employee relations or a comparable HR role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in managing sensitive issues and escalating cases appropriately.
  • Excellent research abilities and attention to detail in addressing employee concerns.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
