Employee Relations Specialist

We are seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join our team in Sherman Oaks, California. This role primarily involves offering counseling services to employees, conducting investigations related to employee relations, and managing employee complaints. The Employee Relations Specialist will also be tasked with collecting and analyzing employee data to create profiles and ensure regulatory standards are met.
Responsibilities:
• Offer counseling services to employees to address their concerns and issues
• Conduct thorough investigations related to employee relations
• Manage and resolve employee complaints to ensure a harmonious workplace
• Collect and analyze employee data for creating detailed employee profiles
• Ensure the organization adheres to regulatory standards in all employee relations matters
• Organize and update employee files to maintain accurate records
• Act as a liaison between employees and management to facilitate effective communication
• Undertake training to improve communication and interpersonal skills
This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Employee Relations
• Excellent Communication skills
• Demonstrable knowledge of Compliance protocols
• Proven experience in handling Employee Relations and conducting Employee Relations Investigations
• Experience with Labor Employee Relations
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations on a local, state, and federal level
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
