Title: Workday HRIS Manager

Location: Onsite (Alpharetta GA, 30022) only locals who can do onsite

Duration: Either Contract to Hire or Full Time Permanent (either is ok, client prefer full time hire)


As the Workday HRIS Manager, you will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Workday platform. Possess knowledge of HR processes, technical skills, and successful project management within Workday environments. You will collaborate with HR, IT, and other relevant partners to ensure that our Workday system supports the needs of our organization and contributes to our overall strategic goals.


Job Responsibilities:

Overall ownership of the ongoing design, configuration, customization, and maintenance of Workday modules to meet our HR needs, including Core HR, Compensation, Talent Management, Recruiting, Security Management, Expenses and Performance Management.

Manage the Workday subject matter experts for all Workday-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to end-users.

Collaborate with HR and other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within Workday.

Manage system updates, patches, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, process workflows, and system configurations.

Conduct regular audits of data integrity within Workday, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users on Workday functionality, best practices, and system updates.

Stay current with Workday releases, new features, and industry trends, making recommendations for system optimizations and enhancements.


Qualifications:

10+ Experience in an HRIS related to management of Workday applications along with 5+ years as a Manager.

Global HR and global data protection laws experience required.

Experience related to implementation, integration, and ongoing management of Workday HR applications.

Hands-on technical experience with Workday Recruiting and HCM areas including Core HCM, Talent, Performance, Absence, Time Tracking, Advanced Compensation and Workday Expenses.

Managing multiple areas for – Workday Operations and Production Support, Workday Transformation Projects, Workday Enhancement, all in the HR space.

Served as subject matter expert to business end-users, addressing user questions and troubleshooting issues Assess new Workday releases for changes that will impact current business processes.

Managed the design and configuration of varied modules in Workday.

Hands on experience in EIBs, Connector and/or Studio would be a plus.
