We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Fire Life Safety Inspector or Service Technician. This job will require travel and you will be working in an Industrial setting with LOTO procedures. You will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and maintenance of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and other related equipment. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of fire safety regulations and standards and ideally have NICET certifications in either sprinkler or fire alarm.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular inspections of fire protection systems and equipment to ensure they are in optimal condition and meet all safety standards.
2. Perform routine maintenance and service on fire safety equipment, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and Silent Knight systems.
3. Identify potential fire hazards and implement corrective measures.
4. Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and records.
5. Collaborate with construction teams to integrate fire safety measures into project plans.
6. Provide training and guidance to construction staff on fire safety best practices.
7. Stay updated on the latest fire safety regulations, standards, and technologies.
8. Respond promptly to emergencies and issues related to fire safety.
9. Collaborate with local fire departments and other regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Fire Protection, Inspections, and Service within the construction industry.
2. Certified in NICET and well-versed with NFPA standards.
3. Proficient in the use of fire alarm systems.
4. Extensive knowledge of fire alarm systems, fire sprinklers, and other fire safety equipment.
5. Proven ability to identify potential fire hazards and implement corrective measures.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and respond promptly to emergencies.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
