We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join a team at the forefront of innovation in consumer electronics and cloud computing. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the validation and characterization of high-speed D2D and SERDES silicon interfaces. This is an exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects in a collaborative and dynamic environment.


Responsibilities

  • Bring up, validate, and characterize high-speed D2D and SERDES blocks in silicon chips.
  • Develop and execute test methods to evaluate performance and calculate operating margins.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testability and define test infrastructure logic.
  • Write software routines in Python, C, or C++ to support silicon validation and IP integration.
  • Analyze test results, document findings, and provide recommendations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience working with D2D and SERDES platforms.
  • Expertise in high-speed serial interface architectures (e.g., NRZ, PAM4).
  • Proficiency with test equipment like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and BERTs.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SERDES calibration and signal integrity analysis.
  • Familiarity with protocols such as UCIe, Ethernet, and PCIe.
  • Ability to write comprehensive test reports and analyze boundary conditions.
