The 950th Spectrum Warfare Group (SWG) is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Facilities Manager to lead project development and management of commercial office spaces of varying sizes, scopes, and complexities. This role is crucial to ensuring that all facilities are fully equipped to support the staffing levels and mission requirements of the SWG. As a Senior Facilities Manager, you will oversee everything from design and setup to ongoing management and breakdown, working closely with the Site Manager to ensure seamless operations.

At the 950th Spectrum Warfare Group, you'll have the opportunity to lead and manage complex facility projects that directly support critical national defense missions. Essential Job Functions:

  • Comprehensive Facility Management: Oversee the management of commercial office spaces, ensuring they are fully equipped to support the staffing levels and mission requirements of the 950th SWG. Your leadership will ensure that all facilities are optimized for operational success.
  • Project Development Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of facility projects, including the design and implementation of office layouts and floor plans. Ensure optimal space utilization and functionality to meet mission-critical objectives.
  • Coordination with Site Manager: Collaborate closely with the Site Manager to establish field offices. Coordinate all aspects of facility setup, ongoing operations, and eventual breakdown, ensuring that each step is executed flawlessly.
  • Space Planning and Design: Design and develop floor plans for assigned field offices, considering operational needs, staff requirements, and mission objectives. Your designs will create efficient and effective workspaces that enhance productivity.
  • Resource Allocation and Budget Management: Manage resources for facility projects, including budgeting, procurement, and contractor management. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Facility Inspections and Compliance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all facilities comply with relevant standards and regulations. Address any issues promptly to maintain a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
  • Secure Conference Room Management: Assist with the overall management of facilities and secure conference rooms to ensure they are in proper working order. This includes managing the operation of doors, windows, cabling, raised floors, garage doors, roofing, emergency generators, uninterruptible power supplies, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Documentation and Maintenance Support: Support the drafting of any required documentation (PWS, 332s, etc.) needed to authorize and route facility maintenance requests through government channels for approval.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of facilities professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and successful project outcomes.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field plus 10 years of experience. 

Secret Security clearance.

Extensive experience in facilities management and project development, particularly in managing commercial office spaces.

Strong leadership, project management, and space planning abilities, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills:

Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

Experience with secure facility management is a plus.
