Position Summary

ITA International is in search of a Facilities Project Coordinator to become a part of our team.

Key Responsibilities

The Facilities Project Coordinator will support operations at a United States Air Force operational wing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing strategic guidance and execution plans for the maintenance and management of government facilities.
  • Creating and delivering reports on project progress, offering updates as necessary for discussions with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining facility standards for appearance and functionality.
  • Assisting in the coordination of maintenance support and delivering initial maintenance services for designated government facilities.
  • Performing additional facility maintenance-related tasks as required.
  • Managing responsibilities within a classified environment, ensuring adherence to all security protocols.
  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of classified facility regulations and escort procedures.
  • Exhibiting familiarity with basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and moving office furniture.
  • Possessing a solid understanding of safe maintenance practices and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience as a Facilities Project Coordinator or relevant handyman experience.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a Secret clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship and a minimum age of 21.
  • At least one (1) year of experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing project schedules that accurately reflect milestones and ensuring oversight in project execution.
  • Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and collaborative spirit.

Physical Requirements

Physical activities may include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting (up to 25 lbs), pulling or pushing, carrying, and various manual dexterity tasks.
