As a Facilities Specialist at DCS Corp, you will play a crucial role in the upkeep and enhancement of the environments that support our operations. This position offers a collaborative and engaging work atmosphere where your efforts will directly influence the success of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Oversight: Manage and coordinate regular maintenance and repair tasks for administrative facilities. Ensure that all activities are executed efficiently and within set timelines to keep the facilities in optimal condition.
  • Space Coordination: Oversee and facilitate physical space adjustments within the facilities, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption to ongoing activities. Your expertise will ensure that spaces are always tailored for critical operations.
  • Vendor Management: Serve as the primary liaison with contractors and service providers. Oversee service agreements, schedule maintenance, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards to uphold operational integrity.
  • Facility Assessments: Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance requirements, safety concerns, and areas for enhancement. Proactively address any issues to sustain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Equipment Management Support: Provide support in managing equipment in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines. Ensure that all equipment is properly accounted for and maintained, integrating this responsibility with your other facility management duties.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep precise and current records of all maintenance activities, space adjustments, facility modifications, and equipment management. Ensure that documentation is readily accessible and adheres to all regulatory standards.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work in close partnership with other departments and personnel to coordinate facility-related tasks. Support the overall mission of DCS Corp by ensuring that all facilities are fully operational and aligned with organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

Due to the nature of the role, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A high school diploma or equivalent along with 10 years of relevant experience.

Possession of a Secret Security clearance.

Demonstrated experience in facilities management, particularly in a government or military context. Familiarity with equipment management responsibilities is advantageous.

Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills, with expertise in project management and advanced methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional technical training or certifications in facilities management would be beneficial.
