As a Facilities Operations Coordinator, you will be instrumental in overseeing the management and upkeep of spaces vital to our national defense initiatives. This role provides a collaborative work atmosphere where your efforts will significantly contribute to the effectiveness of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Oversight: Supervise and coordinate regular maintenance and repair tasks for military facilities, ensuring timely completion and peak operational status.
  • Space Coordination: Manage the logistics of physical space transitions within the facilities, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations while optimizing space for mission-critical functions.
  • Vendor Management: Serve as the primary liaison with contractors and service providers. Oversee service agreements, schedule maintenance, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Facility Evaluations: Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance requirements, safety concerns, and opportunities for enhancement, proactively addressing any issues to maintain a secure and efficient environment.
  • Equipment Management Support: Assist in equipment management in accordance with relevant policies, ensuring proper accountability and maintenance of all equipment.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep precise and current records of maintenance activities, space management, and equipment oversight, ensuring accessibility and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work in conjunction with various departments to coordinate facility-related initiatives, supporting the overarching mission of DCS Corp by ensuring operational readiness of all facilities.

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitive nature of the role.

A high school diploma or equivalent, accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Possession of a Secret Security clearance is mandatory.

Demonstrated experience in facilities management, particularly in military or governmental contexts, is preferred. Familiarity with equipment management responsibilities is advantageous.

Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills, with a focus on configuration management and project oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications or specialized training in facilities management would be beneficial.
