OVERVIEW

Seed Brklyn is a multi-brand retailer, immersive art gallery, and cafe located in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. Launched in October 2022, Seed seeks to push the boundaries of the typical retail experience. We often hosts a diverse range of creative activations in our gallery space, and have worked with clients such as Xbox, Brooklyn Nets, Condé Nast, Timberland, Oatly, as well as local community businesses and organizations.


We are seeking an Account Manager to run the Oasis, our immersive art gallery, and be a key player as we further establish ourselves as an experiential space and agency. The Oasis Account Manager will be responsible for making sure client needs are being met – serving as the connector between the client and Seed’s staff. The ideal candidate will enjoy and excel at building and maintaining relationships, fostering connections for the art experiential space, and project managing across Seed’s internal teams. Working with Seed means being part of a smart, collaborative, and nimble team, and being able to have an immediate impact on a growing company.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all inbound opportunities to qualify viable inquiries and coordinate initial prospective client calls
  • Manage Oasis activation logistics from inquiry to successfully completed event to ensure optimal client experience
  • Cultivate new sales opportunities
  • Translate approved proposals into contract templates and facilitate contract execution
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with existing clients, venue operators, and vendors to ensure exceptional service
  • Coordinate and lead site visits with clients and venue operators
  • Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, contracts, invoices, and other documentation as required for clients and management
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers
  • Coordinate with other team members to support team initiatives and company quotas and standards
  • Utilize prospecting & project management tools
  • Prepare regular reporting for leadership and attend weekly meetings
  • Create and manage P&L worksheets for each activation/experience
  • Work with Seed’s Finance Director on a regular basis to verify and implement P&L tracking and collections
  • Schedule venue coordinators, security personnel, cleaning staff, and facilities maintenance in accordance with signed contracts and venue needs
  • Work closely with producers keeping the relationship between client and production seamless


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in the event production industry in New York City
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft and Google Drive programs (e.g., Office, Teams, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Keynote)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage day-to-day relationships with all levels across the organization
  • Relevant sales and/or customer service experience, plus a strong knowledge of sales tactics in the events industry
  • Proven ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
  • Passionate about the event industry, excellent client relations and facilitation of successful experiences
  • Familiarity with experiential marketing and brand activation
  • Some familiarity with the Art World is a plus
  • Team player attitude: willing to do what needs to get done, when it needs to get done
  • Comfortable creating order from chaos and building processes
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, patient, with a positive attitude
