Job Description:

The Business Development Associate will collaborate with the team to cater to our law firm clients’ expert witness needs. Associates will primarily engage in phone-based outreach and relationship development. They will work alongside senior members of the Business Development and Client Solutions teams to drive opportunities from start to finish, culminating in increased adoption and usage of services across national and global client accounts. We take pride in being a sought-after resource for attorneys from the world’s top law firms, consultancies, and government agencies when they require the very best experts for consulting work, high-stakes litigation, and business development needs. Our approach involves building relationships and brand awareness through thoughtful outreach and client development. We are all dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for our clients and possess the requisite communication skills and polish to do so.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle sales, including sourcing leads, performing various types of outreach, and presenting the business model
  • Creating and managing phone and email campaigns to connect with existing and prospective users
  • Collaborating with senior members of the Client Solutions team to develop and deliver tailored expert solutions for law firm and in-house counsel clients
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of the legal market and the macro business environment, disseminating relevant content to the team as needed
  • Collaborating with colleagues across teams to build and shape the business
  • Contributing to key strategic initiatives established by leadership


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent work experience).
  • 0-3 years of professional experience.
  • Excellent communication skills: oral, written, and presentation abilities.
  • Confidence in making outbound cold calls.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong desire for growth.
  • Ability to handle increasing responsibility over time.
  • Receptive to coaching and feedback.
  • Demonstrated commitment, judgment, emotional maturity, and intensity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a deep desire to build a business.
  • Understanding or interest in the legal industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
