We are seeking seeking a highly motivated Office Manager to support a renowned hairstylist’s successful salon and a thriving non-profit organization. This dual-role position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, where you’ll contribute to the growth of the salon and the impactful mission of the non-profit.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, self-driven individual with exceptional attention to detail, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. If you're a quick learner with strong communication skills and a passion for working with people, we encourage you to apply. While salon experience is a plus, it is not required. What matters most is a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily front desk operations: Check clients in and out, book appointments, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints: Resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure a positive client experience.
- Assist in achieving monthly product sales goals: Recommend products and services for upselling when appropriate.
- Prepare monthly reports: Track salon performance, sales, inventory, and key business metrics.
- Process payroll: Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all administrative tasks.
- Provide administrative support to the CEO: Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and other essential tasks.
- Manage stylist schedules: Ensure optimal appointment bookings and maximize stylist productivity.
- Oversee facility management: Order supplies, maintain cleanliness, and resolve facility-related issues.
- Identify areas for operational improvements: Collaborate with leadership to implement solutions for enhanced efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Create and manage salon content: Develop and schedule social media posts, promotions, and other digital content to enhance the salon’s online presence.
- Support marketing and community engagement: Help with campaigns to boost brand awareness and foster client loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations: Experience with scheduling, client management, and general office duties.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
- Experience in content creation: Social media editing, posting, and promotions is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Ability to handle marketing duties, including social media campaigns, content creation, and client engagement.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a hospitality-focused environment.
- Previous experience in a salon or similar environment is a bonus, but not required.
Work Hours:
- Full-Time: 40 hours per week
- Wednesday to Saturday: 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM (Please note, these hours are fixed and non-negotiable.)
Compensation:
- $22 to $24 per hour, with potential for performance-based increases and commissions from product sales and services.
