Title: Training and Development Specialist
Type: Full-Time; Direct Hire
Location: San Antonio, TX 
Pay Range: $70,000

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate engaging induction training programs for new hires using a blend of classroom, virtual, self-directed learning, and just-in-time modalities.
  • Leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance the onboarding experience and transition to on-the-job training.
  • Monitor and coach employees to ensure the application of acquired skills post-training.
  • Assist with client-facing training programs.
  • Create interactive digital training content, including e-learnings, video tutorials, job aids, handouts, and virtual classrooms.
  • Utilize digital learning tools and methods, interactive simulations, and self-directed learning within the LMS.(Learning Management Systems)
  • Champion the adoption of digital learning methods and tools, exploring just-in-time learning and personalized learning paths.
  • Educate stakeholders on the benefits of digital enablement and stay informed of emerging trends in digital learning.
  • Maintain and optimize the LMS, curate relevant content, and track learner progress.
  • Use data-driven insights to drive improvements in training effectiveness in partnership with quality assurance.
  • Measure the application of skills learned during training and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing digital training materials and a strong understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Competency with LMS platforms, virtual classrooms, multimedia tools, and e-learning design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a learner-centric manner.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making and learning analytics to drive improvements.
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace change and stay current with industry trends.
  • Ability to create a motivating environment, empower others, and share ownership and visibility.
  • Takes initiative and responsibility in all facets of the role.
  • Focus on the needs of internal and external customers, keeping in mind the customer experience and their values.
  • 3+ years in Learning & Development, preferably in a call center or operations setting.
  • Experience with digital tools, software, and platforms related to training.
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of tiered investigation access for a position of Trust.
