Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Compensation and Analytics Manager to join our team in Chicago. In this role, you will be responsible for managing compensation programs and conducting data analysis to drive informed decision-making across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage compensation strategies, policies, and programs for all levels of staff, associates, and partners.
  • Conduct regular analyses of compensation data to ensure alignment with market trends, internal equity, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to design and implement compensation structures, including salary ranges, bonus plans, and incentive programs.
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations on compensation-related matters.
  • Lead the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, bonus allocations, and promotions.
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations on compensation metrics, trends, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about legal industry compensation trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in compensation management, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus.
