Responsibilities

As a full-time, on-site Commercial Real Estate Paralegal at Burch, Porter & Johnson, PLLC in Memphis, TN, you will be pivotal in our corporate and commercial real estate transactions. Your responsibilities will include legal document preparation, conducting due diligence, managing title insurance, surveys, UCC and tax lien search reports, purchase/sales contracts, and handling commercial real estate matters. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be instrumental in ensuring the success of these transactions.


Qualifications

  • Two years of previous experience as a real estate paralegal or in a related role is required.
  • Paralegal certification or a relevant degree is a plus.
  • Legal Document Preparation, Due Diligence, and Title Insurance skills.
  • Good understanding of real estate law and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
