Technical UX Program Manager

Project Overview:

  • We are looking for a Technical UX Program Manager to be a strategic partner in defining and driving the work across the UX team, which is responsible for core areas of client.
  • This role will partner with leads to execute on large horizontal projects, and lead process improvements and scaling efficiencies across UX.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Building roadmaps, setting agendas, running meetings and other necessary day-to-day activities to ensure continued momentum on 3 year-long projects.
  • Collaborating with UX leads to define large-scale programs given ambiguous goals.
  • Planning and running sprints and presentations that further innovation within the client’s product.
  • Deliver work in a way that builds trust across teams such as Engineers and PMs, and across functions within UX, connecting all three groups and making sure interdependencies are understood and planned for.
  • Collaborate with UX team leadership in defining team priorities including: requirements gathering, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of teams and approval processes.
  • You will also be an ambassador for cross-functional partners outside the UX organization, building and maintaining key relationships to help the UX organization run smoothly.
  • Provide clear communication to team leads regarding program status, resource requirements, risks, and priorities.
  • Proactively identify issues, and create plans to sustainably resolve them. Perform strategic analyses that translate data into actionable insights, influence stakeholders, and develop execution plans.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to establish trusted relationships and coordinate alignment across a diverse set of stakeholders, including senior level and executive level partners.
  • Demonstrated process improvement experience and accomplishments.
  • Experience with influencing organizational change to implement a process.
  • A strong sense of focus and excellent attention to detail while working in a very fast-paced, changing environment.

Skills:

  • Thrives when challenged with vague/undefined program/project scope and can utilize data when proposing solutions for operational initiatives.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design process, design systems, Figma libraries, and product development process.
  • Has worked with user experience or design teams, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable.

Education:

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
