POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for ensuring the Company has the talent and labor needed to achieve a sustained value stream, meeting the organization’s mission and vision, and generating revenue. He/she deals with the strategies, tactics, and processes for identifying recruiting, and retaining the human resources as a company needs. This includes developing, implementing, and evaluating creative and effective strategies and programs for sourcing, engaging, recruiting, hiring and orienting talents to support the Company’s growth and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Create and execute robust searches/headhunts utilizing recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies to recruit top talents and establish talent pipelines to meet current needs and future organizational goals including effectively networking to build relationships for current and future talents for future leadership roles.
  • Lead and mentor the recruiting team to achieve established KRAs related to talent acquisition and workforce fulfillment. Be an insightful and resourceful leader in talent acquisition and develop the team to drive for workforce excellence.
  • Accountable for the talent acquisition and selection process of the Company to drive achieving the Company’s objectives. Develop and implement recruiting strategies, using best practices in interviewing; and coach hiring managers on protocol. Partner with hiring managers on specific skills and abilities required for the position to ensure effective talent acquisition and selection. Manage the internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring managers, and offer letters.
  • Be responsible for full-cycle recruitment and onboarding process including screening resumes, interviewing candidates (phone or in-person), administering appropriate assessments including reference checks and background checks. Make recommendations for hire to hiring managers and deliver/negotiate employment offers and communicate important employment information during delivery of offer such as benefits, incentives, work hours, and any non-compete requirements. Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruitment process and on-boarding experience and make continuous improvements.
  • Implement and maintain the Applicant Tracking System and manage candidate activity in the system. Run regular/ad hoc reports to identify trends/issues and conduct analysis to drive continuous improvements in recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Manage and maintain various recruitment and social media platforms to engage qualified candidates. Ensure updated company’s news and openings are posted on time.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals. Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Function Heads to ensure that talent acquisition policies and procedures are developed and communicated in an effective manner. Provide counseling assistance to management and non-management regarding the talent acquisition process. Attend career fairs with hiring managers to recruit talents and build up talent pipelines.
  • Create and manage talent retention strategies by working with Function Heads and HR Business Partners. Assist with Succession Planning process for Americas zone. Assist in identifying high potentials based on skills, background experience and performance.
  • Regularly review of recruiting activity to identify trends and regular team huddles to promote strong upstream visibility to potential issues.
  • Develop, revise and implement sound talent acquisition policies and practices to ensure compliance. Maintain all talent acquisition documents in accordance with guidelines. Ensure interviewing, testing, and hiring processes adhere to all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other government compliance requirements. Assist with selection training with management as needed.
  • Upon approval, coordinate outside recruiting including executive search firms and research and placement agencies. Negotiating contracts with staffing agencies, websites and any other identified recruiting resources in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all job descriptions are regularly reviewed, updated, and organized.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

This position has supervisory responsibilities to supervise a small recruiting team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
  • A Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field from an accredited college/university. Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential is highly preferred.
  • Must have 10+ years of hands-on, proven successful talent acquisition experience in CPG industry (food industry is preferred) in which 5+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Must have solid experience and knowledge of methods and techniques of headhunting/sourcing, screening, selection, interviewing, and placement talents, especially sales & marketing professionals, in CPG industry.
  • Proven successful records in Talent Acquisition in creative and effective sourcing techniques and talent attraction strategies.
  • Experience in managing Talent Acquisition Systems and running reports to conduct analysis and preparation.
  • Excellent time and project management skills. Understanding of systems to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, exercising judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information.
  • High customer service and relationship orientation, strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly responsive, results orientated, and able to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organization and candidates.
  • Proven track record of building new capabilities, with a process orientation.
