Our global client in the Tax Business Unit is seeking a Junior or Mid-level/Senior Associate to join their Executive Compensation & Benefits Practice Group, stationed at the Austin, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Silicon Valley office.

  • Over the years, they have counseled leading private, public, not-for-profit, and governmental entities on numerous significant and groundbreaking executive compensation and employee benefits transactions and disputes.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with Attorneys locally and across the firm to deliver top-notch client service.
  • Conducting research and drafting legal documents, providing assistance to Attorneys.
  • Directly engaging with clients on a broad array of intricate transactions, both verbally and in writing.
  • Willingness to share expertise and mentor junior associates.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and JD, or equivalent foreign qualifications. An LLM may substitute for a JD.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The preferred candidate will have experience collaborating with both public and private employers, including startups, covering various aspects of executive compensation and benefits practice. This involves participation in mergers, financings, IPOs, executive hiring, stock compensation, ERISA compliance, benefit plans, and public company reporting.
  • Eligibility for bar membership in relevant jurisdictions, with good standing in admitted jurisdictions.
