Role Mandate:

The main function of an L&D Development Specialist is to provide necessary support, including needs assessment, design, development and delivery of learning initiatives. The typical L&D Development specialist will guide the development of all training practices.

Candidate Value Proposition:

The ideal candidate will support the end-to-end process for delivering learning and performance support solutions to our scaled workforce, with a heavy emphasis on content development. The Global Ops Vendor Learning Team is supportive, collaborative, and is pioneering an evolution away from traditional classroom training and into delivering solutions that leverage AI and are embedded in the flow of work.

Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

Design and develop effective and engaging learning and performance solutions leveraging learning science and instructional design principles. (This will include content

that may or may not violate our Community Standards. A full list can be viewed on the Client Community Standards page.

Use a performance support first mindset to conduct a learning needs analysis and prescribe the appropriate learning and / or performance support solutions to close

performance gaps

Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to discover and analyze learning content and data

Develop multi-modal learning and performance support materials, including synchronous remote learning methodologies, blended classroom learning, interactive e-

learning modules, performance support, videos & voice-overs, animations, infographics, and facilitator guides. Must be able to develop eLearning in LCMS (Learning Center

Management System)

Design and develop L1 - L4 assessments to measure the success of learning programs and performance support tools

Deliver and facilitate pilots and train-the-trainer sessions

Collaborate with other team members and subject matter experts (SMEs) to support various learning program and project initiatives

Maintain existing curriculum and knowledge bases

Performance Measurement:

Performance will be measured on speed and accuracy, problem-solving and creativity (identify ways to improve or identify creative solutions when presented with problems), and deadlines. Compliant utilization of the LCMS – specific templates to boost reusability of content; the individual will be building according to this architecture.

Must-Have Skills:

5+ years of experience in a corporate setting

Expertise in end-to-end instructional design

Experience with a variety of creating learning modalities (have they done job aids, experience with formal training development tools)

Experience with authoring in formal e-learning tools (will be developing content in LCMS)

Portfolio is mandatory

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with creating workflow learning and performance support solutions

Graphic design skills

Experience with end-to-end project management

Former Client experience

Any advance coding or technical skills and experience in building in the backend

Soft Skills

Strong verbal and written communication (need to reach out to SMEs inside and outside of the team to obtain information to get data effectively to incorporate in content development process)

Strong collaboration skills

Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

Proactive

Ability to work autonomously

Flexible (lots of change)

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree required
