Entry Level Position: Marketing Coordinator


Are you ready to work in a fast-paced environment where you get to work on different projects almost every day? Our Marketing Coordinator position may be the role for you. We are looking for an ENTRY LEVEL marketing professional WITH 1-3 YEARS of EXPERIENCE to support our team at a growing association.   No day is ever the same and this role interfaces with different teams to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met for our various marketing campaigns. We have a heavy focus in event marketing because we support approximately 10+ conferences and 15+ courses each year. It’s a great opportunity to grow as a marketing professional and work for an exceptional organization and marketing team


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Developing and executing marketing plans for events, publications and trainings
  • Responsible for developing and trafficking ads, banners and materials; fulfilling internal/external request creative assets for various publications
  • Responsible for coordination of materials such as marketing collateral for events including working with marketing team and other TAPPI staff members on creative; managing those timelines
  • Managing digital marketing campaigns and identifying new marketing channels to improve effectiveness campaigns
  • Maintains accuracy and timeliness of event and association website information on a day-to-day basis
  • Managing content development for the TAPPI Connect online community and supporting
  • Tasks may also include: developing and scheduling digital banners, drafting, editing and proofreading copy, organizing and proofing various marketing collateral, updating presentation content/PowerPoints to ensure content is comprehensive and current


What You Should Have:

  • 1-3 years experience in marketing, public relations or communications
  • Strong work ethic, drive and team-oriented (we do alot of thing together)
  • Strong communication skills, highly organized and ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Solution-oriented approach to challenges and ability to dig in and find the answer with little direction
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
