Job Description:

The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, implementation, and commissioning of control systems for manufacturing facilities. This position requires expertise in control system design, project engineering, and onsite commissioning, along with the ability to manage projects from conception to completion.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives for manufacturing facility design and automation.
  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) design, and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
  • Create detailed control system specifications, including hardware and software requirements, wiring diagrams, and control logic diagrams.
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to control and monitor industrial machinery and processes.
  • Lead onsite commissioning activities, including system installation, testing, and debugging, to ensure proper functionality and integration with existing systems.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical support and training to plant personnel on the operation and maintenance of control systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to procure control system components and equipment.
  • Stay updated with advancements in control system technology, automation, and manufacturing best practices.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in controls engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and HMI/SCADA development is required.
  • Experience with control system design tools and software (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware) is preferred.
  • Strong project engineering skills, including project management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite commissioning and project engineering activities.
