Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading custom equipment fabricator in Durham, NC who is looking for a Metal Finisher/Shop Helper to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working 6:30am-5pm Monday-Thursday.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform metal finishing, polishing, and deburring of parts to meet quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.
  • Support CNC Machinists and Fabricators as needed.
  • Ensure quality control and accuracy in all production processes.
  • Perform general maintenance and help with shop upkeep.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop.
  • Background in metal finishing, polishing, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to learn and support various shop tasks.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Basic understanding of safety practices in a machine shop.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
