Job Details

Our organization, a leading name in the medical industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Grant Funding & Contract Administrator to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in managing and administering grant funding and contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving the successful achievement of our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant management and contract administration, with a keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of grant funding and contract administration, including application, negotiation, execution, monitoring, and closure.

2. Ensure all grants and contracts are in compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations, policies, and procedures.

3. Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports on grant and contract activities to relevant stakeholders.

4. Conduct regular audits to identify any areas of non-compliance or inefficiency and implement corrective actions as needed.

5. Work closely with the finance department to monitor grant and contract budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting.

6. Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement effective grant and contract management strategies and processes.

7. Provide guidance and support to project teams on grant and contract-related matters.

8. Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in grant funding and contract administration and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant management and contract administration, preferably in the medical industry.

3. Proficiency in Grants and UGMS/TxGMS.

4. Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and perform data analysis.

5. Strong auditing skills, with the ability to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.

6. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple grants and contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.

8. Knowledge of federal, state, and organizational regulations, policies, and procedures related to grant funding and contract administration.

9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data analysis.

10. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical practices.
