Position Title: Azure Systems Administrator

Location: La Vergne, TN - On-Site (Monday through Friday)

Duration: Direct Hire, Full-Time

Compensation: $100,000/year

Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card


Job Overview:

One of Insight Global's clients is seeking a proficient Azure Systems Administrator to join their team in La Vergne, TN The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure, Office 365, and a strong background in both Windows and Linux environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Leadership: Lead and improve infrastructure designs by researching and adopting new products and automation technologies to reduce costs, ease management, and enhance performance.
  • System Operations: Ensure 24x7 operations of mission-critical systems, including Office 365 and Azure environments.
  • Administration: Perform routine system administration tasks to maintain operational stability.
  • Expertise Provision: Provide subject matter expertise for Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Office 365/Azure infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, services, process improvement, and standardization.
  • Cloud Integration: Utilize experience in integrating cloud and on-premises solutions to create a cohesive user environment.
  • Scripting and Automation: Perform scripting and modify scripts to automate manual tasks and ensure operational stability.
  • Standards and Processes: Design, build, and maintain company-level computing standards and processes.
  • Performance Management: Identify and resolve performance issues in collaboration with software development and data integration teams.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5-10 years of systems admin experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Entra ID
  • Microsoft Cloud environment experience.
  • Great communication and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
