Job Summary

: 

The Sr. Supervisor - Security (M3) will support the Air Dominance Sub-Strategic Business Unit and Global Security Services Center of Excellence leadership in direct support of National Security and contractual requirements for Special Programs based on 32 CFR – Part 117, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, and ICD-705. The selected candidate will directly manage/supervise entry level security professionals and will be the focal point for all security related tasks and matters in their assigned program(s).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Maintain the oversight and implementation of contractual security requirements for classified program areas. Manage security professionals to include scheduling, coaching, training, and evaluating performance.  Sets day-to-day goals and objectives for assigned team members. Partner with personnel across functional organizations in support of business objectives, while ensuring compliance with US Government and Raytheon Company directives and policies.  Explains policies, practices, and procedures of the work area to others within the organization. Develop and implement local SOPs, processes, procedures, and Job Operating Instructions to ensure continually high compliance levels and efficient operations.  Perform annual self-inspections, evaluate findings, and direct the implementation and re-evaluation of the corrective action(s).  Provide security support during Government inspections.  Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.  Collaborate with and assist the ISSO / ISSM on implementation of JSIG requirements and approved sanitization procedures for hardware and test equipment.  Inspect, prepare for accreditation, and maintain secure facilities in accordance with ICD 705 standards.  Evaluates resource needs to develop proposals. May require overtime, evenings, and/or weekend support.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of security processes and projects within a SAP/SCI work area. U.S. citizenship is required. Understanding of the 32 CFR – Part 117, DoDM 5205.07 series, and ICD-705. Must possess a valid driver’s license for escorting individuals across business locations.

Active Secret security clearance. Possess a minimum of a current, final Secret clearance with an investigation not older than six (6) years on the first day of employment.

Qualifications We Value:

Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study. Possess a minimum of a current, final TOP SECRET security clearance with an investigation not older than six (6) years on the first day of employment. Related training with Defense Security Service, Center for Development of Security Excellence or equivalent security certification programs. Willing to travel on company business.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.This role is a U.S.-based role.
