The Business Technology Consultant is a role within our Client Success Team. Success in this role is dependent on the ability and desire to learn and deliver high quality business technology consulting. We provide extensive training, career development support and a team environment where success is rewarded. A professional attitude and providing outstanding Client Service is critical.

Our Business Technology Consultant is responsible to bridge the gap between technical matters and Client Relationships. This is a consulting and billable service delivery role. You will use required skills to work internally with the IT Services, IT Professional Services and IT Procurement teams as well as providing consulting services to our Clients. This position requires you to work externally with the various contacts with your Clients in a professional, proactive, honest and outgoing manner.A professional attitude and providing outstanding Client Service is critical.

It is your responsibility to:

Portray the added value that Leverage IT brings to the business community and our Clients through first-class client service Build trust and strong relationships with your given Clients Become an expert in the branded services that we provide and how those services take care of our Client’s needs Become an expert in our Navigate Digital Transformation Client Advisory processes Become an expert in delivery of our Navigate Digital Transformation services Identify Navigate Digital Transformation opportunities and sell Navigate services to Prospects and Clients Meet billable consulting delivery goals Plan and execute a clear annual layout of all Leverage IT Client consulting planning sessions Prepare your Business Technology Best Practice Planning documents using our defined processes and tools Prepare annual Client Business Technology Budgets Balance your time between high priority tasks those required immediately Understand the industry’s Networking Best Practices and do your best to require all accounts to abide by such standards Work with the necessary contacts within your Clients to coordinate an asset rotation plan Work with the necessary IT Best Practice Engineers to assure best practices are being followed for your Client’s technology environments Clearly relay and break-down the details of the technology options and recommendations for your Clients. Coordinate productive communication and meetings with the appropriate specialists within the Leverage IT Team to execute technology implementations, migrations and other multi-part projects. Understand what external resources to use in order to deliver great client service in a timely manner Balance your advisement and consulting work budget to supply your Clients with the advice required appropriate to the complexity and needs Be familiar with various services and vendors and in what area are they more useful Recognize new opportunities for improvement within your Clients technology environments. Follow Client Advisory process and document all work in our systems Have a handle on new technology products as well as upcoming licenses and hardware/software support end dates Delivering and following up with quotes and expert suggested solutions in a tactful and gentle manner Continuously organize your daily priority tasks, time, consulting tasks
