Director II Provider Relationship Account Management

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations in California.

The Director II Provider Relationship Account Management will be directs the Provider Relationship Account Management (front line) team responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's physician and provider delivery system across all regions within the state of California. The California market is large, complex, and serves all lines of business, with several large Hospital Systems (each exceeding $1B) and/or IPAs, also containing a significant percentage of the provider network contracted via complex payment arrangements such as risk contracting and CAP.

How you will make an impact:

Directs the provider education, orientation, communication and complaint resolution strategies between physicians, hospitals, members, and the public. Directs development of processes to ensure provider account teams/cohorts are sufficiently staffed and trained in providing timely issue resolution, provider education/orientation, evaluation of network adequacy and recruitment into the provider network. Responsible for delivering and achieving individual and team performance goals/metrics, has department budget accountability. May lead Provider Advisory Group meetings with external providers, to secure valuable and actionable feedback on company initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree in business or related health field and a minimum of 7 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

At least 3 years of experience managing and leading a team is preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $135,334 to $224,595.
