Shift: 1st Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm or 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $18.50
Kelly is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join a team as an Inventory Control Coordinator. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting stores, distribution centers, Internet, and HQ departments by troubleshooting and resolving inventory discrepancies and questions. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to ensuring smooth inventory operations and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities:
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, collaborating with various teams to identify and address root causes
- Process miscellaneous inventory adjustments accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with stores, distribution centers, Internet, and HQ departments to provide timely and effective support for inventory-related inquiries
- Assist in resolving store-to-store transfer discrepancies and other inventory-related issues
- Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize efficiency and minimize errors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements related to inventory control
Requirements:
- Previous experience in inventory control or related field preferred
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with the ability to manipulate and analyze data effectively
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and experience with database software is a plus
- Understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with inventory control procedures
- Ability to lift and move items up to 30 pounds, as needed
