PrideStaff is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of inventory, receiving shipments, and fulfilling customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of 4-5 warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations.
- Inventory Management: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality. Conduct quality control checks on inbound and outbound shipments to ensure products meet required standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Lead a small team in picking and packing customer orders, ensuring accurate and efficient fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as inventory control and shipping, to ensure accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and updates on warehouse activities, including productivity, inventory levels, and any issues or concerns.
- Training and Development: Train new associates on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications: Stand-up and sit-down forklift certified.
- Experience: Proven experience in receiving shipments, conducting quality control checks, and order fulfillment. Experience leading a small team of warehouse associates.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions:
The Warehouse Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with frequent exposure to heavy machinery and equipment. The ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, is required. A flexible schedule to accommodate occasional overtime or weekend work is also necessary.
