Job Summary:
Taylor Machine Works is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for maintaining adequate parts inventory, expediting daily shipments, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including parts ordering and reordering as necessary.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by furnishing customers with recommended parts inventory and training them in the use of parts catalogs and PSO cards.
- Logistics: Expedite daily parts shipments and ensure timely delivery of emergency or back-order items.
- Warranty Claims: Handle warranty claims and follow through to completion.
- Team Support: Assist supervisor in proper storage and disposal of EPA controlled waste and conduct monthly 5S/safety audits.
Requirements:
- Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Experience in the parts/service industry, with particular emphasis on coordinating service responsibilities with service technicians and parts personnel.
- Skills: Excellent telephone skills, physical stamina, and ability to operate equipment such as forklifts.
