Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Capture Director to lead pursuits of strategic opportunities within the company’s Business Development organization. This position enables the company’s growth objectives by leading solution development and capture of large, technically complex strategic acquisitions in support of the company’s Mission Operations Business Unit. The Capture Director develops capture plans in coordination with the program managers for selected high-profile opportunities. This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development and Growth Lead for SOSi’s Mission Operations Business Unit.


Essential Job Duties

  • Develop win strategies, solutions, and call plans, while leading capture for new business pursuits.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships related to active opportunity pursuits.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s service offerings and be able to represent their benefits, and functionality to customers.
  • Work closely with the company’s CTO to identify, develop and deploy capabilities that provide the company differentiation from its competitors on strategic pursuits.
  • Participate in corporate trade shows and industry events.
  • Develop network of key partners to optimize win probabilities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree + 10 years of professional business development experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of winning technically complex contracts valued at $300 million or more.
  • Technical understanding of contingency logistics capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience pursuing classified acquisitions with U.S. Special Operations Command and Intelligence Community customers.
  • Must possess the ability to work across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions, leading customer meetings and cross-discipline teams in development of customer solutions.
  • Exceptional demonstrated verbal communication, presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to gain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.

Work Environment

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
