JOB OVERVIEW:The Account Executive focuses on expanding Equity 1031 Exchange services, with an emphasis on driving lead qualification and conversion into new revenue. Builds partnerships with title agents, realtors, advisors, and other professionals in the real estate investing community. Works closely with leaders on new business strategies to grow this key business segment for Equity Trust, while supporting our industry-leading suite of retirement planning and tax-saving services such as Self-Directed IRAs, Non-Recourse Loans, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Qualifies Marketing Leads with outbound activity including calls, emails, and other direct communication for 1031 Exchange Services
- Converts qualified leads into the Sales Funnel
- Executes Revenue Opportunities for 1031 Exchange Services, and other service offerings
- Develops brand awareness in external marketplaces
- Seeks and builds relationships in the broader Real Estate investing industry
- Refines internal sales process with Leaders
- Explores the broader market opportunity, especially with DSTs (Delaware Statutory Trusts)
- Identifies and executes opportunities for complementary services including self-directed IRAs
- Attends industry trade shows, and networking events as needed (some nights/weekends may be required)
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of Experience in Business Development roles in Financial Services, Real Estate or a similar field
- Knowledge of the financial and/or real estate investment sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- None required
TECHNICAL SKILLS:To be successful in this role, you should have experience with and an understanding of the following:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google G-Suite; Salesforce a plus

This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
