NYS HELPS: This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS).
Duties Description Under the direction of Information Technology Specialist 3, within the Chief Technology Office, Business Application Services, Economic Development, Housing Government portfolio. The position will function as a cross functional team member in a group responsible for the ongoing support and development of Division of the Budget’s primary budget management application. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
•Functioning as part of the group responsible for the development and support of a complex business application spanning multiple technologies and complex business processes, both on-prem and cloud based, including but not limited to Oracle Enterprise Performance Management, Groovy, VBA, Essebase, Pl/SQL, PowerShell.
•Gaining expertise and understanding of all involved technologies and utilizing the technologies to develop EPM Business Rules, ETL scripts, database queries, and other functions as needed.
•Designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle EPM solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and best practices.
•Collaborate with senior developers and business analysts to implement required solutions in the platform.
•Developing and maintaining documentation related to all solutions maintained within the unit.
