Inside Sales Representative
VAT is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to become an integral part of our Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing client relationships, developing opportunities, generating quotes, and monitoring the sales pipeline for the assigned territory. This position will work very closely with the outside sales managers and assist them in covering the geographical territory. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective customers, understanding their needs, presenting solutions, and driving revenue growth for the company. This position is located in San Jose, CA and will report to the Inside Sales Team Lead.
YOUR CHALLENGES
Lead Generation: Identify and qualify sales leads through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and website inquiries. Build and maintain relationships with contacts within assigned territory and support them throughout the sales pipeline Collaborate closely with internal teams, including territory managers, and product managers to deliver customer centric solutions. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling VAT products and services, maximizing revenue potential Create, monitor, and follow up on outstanding quotes from quote creation to closure.YOUR COMPENTENCIES
Proven experience in inside sales, or a related role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to build rapport with clients and understand their needs. Demonstrated ability to understand technical products. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics) and MS Office suite. Highly organized, with strong time-management skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).Interested?
